Joshua W. Cummins, a private wealth advisor who managed $1.1 billion in client assets, joined UBS in Westlake, California, according to an announcement. He reports to UBS’s Los Angeles private wealth market led by Lauren Gorsche and branch manager Kate Daniels, according to the announcement.

Rockefeller Capital Management on Friday nabbed another former First Republic broker, this time a $4 million producer in Boston, according to a source familiar with the move.

The larger of the moves is the father-son team of Gary W. Owens and Travis L. Owens, who moved to UBS in Dallas. They had managed $540 million in client assets and generated around $2.7 million in revenue, according to a source familiar with their practice.

In the larger of the moves, a duo managing $1.2 billion in assets joined Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. in Des Moines, Iowa, according to a spokesperson for the firm. The group, which moved on Tuesday, includes Merrill lifers Grant Clark and Mark Malone as well as client associates Sara O’Brien and Lyndsi Truka.

At Merrill, the Buchers had been part of The Locniskar Pursel Bucher Biddinger Group, according to their former firm’s website. The group had managed $4 billion combined in client assets, according to Forbes, which ranked the team ninth on its best-in-state teams this year. It is now led by managing directors Dana M. Locniskar and Thomas S. Pursel, who could not be reached for comment.
