Both, operating as Rivertowne Advisors, are based in Beaver, Pa., just northwest of Pittsburgh. Their practice will focus on retirement planning, both for individual clients and for businesses.

Advisors Chris Mahoney, his brother Kevin Mahoney, Mark C. Marotta, Kristen Koluch, and Phil Murphy joined the firm in West Nyack, N.Y., about  40 miles from Manhattan.The team, which is led by Mahoney, generated $7.7 million in annual production, according to Raymond James.

Voya Financial Advisors has recruited a $500 million-plus advisor group from Investor’s Capital Corporation.An initial group of 17 advisors with $415 million in assets under management moved to Voya on November 2nd with a second wave from various broker-dealers following in the first quarter of next year. This group brings gross dealer concessions totaling $4 million to Voya Financial Advisors.

Advisors Tammy Sweet Halprin and Scott Finkler now operate as the Halprin Finkler Investment Group of Raymond James in Destin, Fla., the firm says. The duo had $2 million in annual production at the time of their departure from Wells Fargo, according to Raymond James.

Wells Fargo struck a deal with Credit Suisse to smooth the recruitment of the Swiss lender’s private-bank employees as their firm retreats from managing wealth for U.S. clients.The deal would allow U.S. advisors and clients to move to Wells Fargo Advisors by early 2016, according to a joint statement Tuesday from the firms.

Now operating as Elm Wealth Management, the team generated approximately $3 million in production while at UBS, according to Raymond James.

Morgan Stanley enticed away a team managing $1 billion in client assets from Citi Private Bank, according to a spokeswoman for the wirehouse.Advisors William Goettert and John Entenberg joined Morgan’s office in Boca Raton, Fla., where they report to Complex Manager Bert White. While at Citi, the duo generated $5 million in annual production.Goettert and Entenberg had been with Citi since 2010, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. Prior to that they worked at Merrill Lynch.
